What is Afterpay?
Afterpay is a new payment system that allows you to purchase items in instalments, rather than paying the entire amount owed in one transaction. Instead, you will keep the item as soon you decide to purchase it, and you merely pay the remainder of the balance owed in four equal instalments.
We believe that Afterpay is the perfect fit for us! It’s another great way to provide affordable, cost-effective and high-quality furniture with outstanding customer service. We’re catering to shoppers who are after flexible and simple payment solutions.
That’s why we are proud to have implemented this revolutionary new purchasing method, so that we can make it easier for our customers to buy furniture than ever before. This means that when you get your furniture at our shops, you can now look forward to shopping and transacting with ease and without financial pressure.
Best of all, you can use Afterpay whether you’re shopping online, or in-store.Here is a quick rundown of how to purchase our furniture using Afterpay.
Afterpay and in-store shopping
Shopping with Afterpay in-store is quick and easy to do:
- First, be sure to install the Afterpay mobile app on your smartphone from either the App Store or Google Play.
- Using the app, you can browse to the Furniture Galore site created on the application space. If you can’t find us, be sure to let us know.
- Finally, tap on the barcode to see the maximum amount you can spend in-store using Afterpay. When you are at the register, be sure to present the barcode to your sales assistant, who will scan it, and the payment will be made.
Be sure that you have at least 25% of the total amount in your account, as the Afterpay will deduct this amount immediately at the time of purchase.
Afterpay and online shopping
Afterpay is offered as a payment method in the checkout section of our online store. To use Afterpay instead of Visa or PayPal, you simply have to select it as a payment option when finalising your shopping cart.
When it is time to pay for your furniture, you’ll be redirected to the Afterpay site. If you don’t have an Afterpay account, you will have to opportunity to create one by providing your phone, bank details and address.
That’s it. You don’t have to make an immediate payment, and the payments will be automatically deducted in four equal amounts every two weeks. If this is the first time you’re using Afterpay, you’ll be required to make one of the four payments immediately, and then one every two weeks after.
